Create an estimate when you want to send pricing to a customer before starting work.

Steps

1. Open the project and go to the Estimate tab, or select Create Estimate from the project menu.
2. Start from scratch or choose a template.
3. Add the work, materials, and pricing.
4. Review the estimate total and select Review & Send.
5. Confirm delivery details and select Send Estimate.

What happens next

After the estimate is sent, Dave helps you track its status. Once the customer accepts it, you can turn it into an invoice.
