Create your first estimate

Send an estimate when you need customer approval before starting work.

Steps

1. Open your project and go to the Estimate tab.
2. Start from scratch or choose a template.
3. Add line items for labor, materials, and other charges.
4. Review the total and select Review & Send.
5. Confirm delivery details and select Send Estimate.

What happens next

After you send the estimate, Dave tracks its status. When the customer accepts, you can convert it to an invoice.
