Create your first estimate
Send an estimate when you need customer approval before starting work.
Steps
- Open your project and go to the Estimate tab.
- Start from scratch, choose a template, or use AI Estimate Builder to recreate an existing Excel, CSV, or PDF estimate.
- Add line items for labor, materials, and other charges.
- Review the total and select Review & Send.
- Confirm delivery details and select Send Estimate.
What happens next
After you send the estimate, Dave tracks its status. When the customer accepts, you can convert it to an invoice.
