Create your first estimate

Send an estimate when you need customer approval before starting work.

Steps

1. Open your project.
2. Select Create estimate.
3. Add line items for labor, materials, and other charges.
4. Review the total.
5. Send the estimate to your customer.

What happens next

After you send the estimate, Dave tracks its status. When the customer accepts, you can convert it to an invoice.
