How to connect Stripe

Connect Stripe when you want customers to pay invoices online from the invoice link Dave sends them.

If your Online Payments settings show Dave Payments instead, follow Set up online payments. This guide applies when Stripe setup is available to your business.

Steps

1. Open Business Settings.
2. Go to Online Payments under Invoices.
3. Review the payment fees for your country.
4. Select Connect Payments.
5. Complete Stripe's setup flow in your browser, including business and bank details.
6. Return to Dave. If you see Setup Required, select Complete Setup and finish any remaining Stripe steps.
7. When your account shows Ready, you can turn on online payments on new invoices.

What happens next

Turn on Accept Online Payment when you create or send an invoice. Use View Payouts & Settings in Online Payments to manage your Stripe dashboard, bank details, and payout history.
