Add or remove team seats

A seat is a place for one person to work in your Dave business with their own login. The current plan includes you and one teammate. Admins and crew members use the same kind of seat. Your customers don't need one to view their estimates, invoices, or client portal.

Open Settings → Your team to see how many seats are available.

How much does my team cost?

Count everyone who needs a login, including yourself. The current plan is $99/month or $948/year, with the first 2 seats included. Each extra seat adds $20/month or $192/year.

For a team of 5, that means 2 included seats and 3 paid extra seats:

Use the pricing calculator to check a different team size. Any applicable taxes, discounts, and credits appear when you review a payment.

Invite a teammate

1. Choose Invite a teammate.
2. Enter their email and choose their access: All access admin or Crew member with the permissions they need.
3. If a seat is available, send the invitation at no additional charge. If you need a paid seat, choose Review seat & invitation.
4. Review the amount due now and the next renewal total, then confirm payment. The invitation is sent after payment succeeds.

Extra seats cost $20/month or $192/year, matching your business's billing cycle. When you add one partway through a period, you only pay for the time left in that month or year. Your renewal date stays the same.

An invitation reserves a seat. If it expires or you revoke it, the seat becomes available again. A paid seat still renews until you schedule its removal, even if nobody joins.

When someone leaves

Remove them in Your team to stop their access. For a paid seat, choose Keep the seat for someone else or Remove one paid seat at renewal.

You can also use Remove unused paid seats to reduce spare seats. Your bill goes down at the next renewal; there's no refund for the time already paid for. Removing someone's access alone doesn't reduce your bill.
