Import data from QuickBooks
Import data when you already have customers or products in QuickBooks and want to bring them into Dave.
Import clients
- Open Organization Settings.
- Go to QuickBooks under Accounting.
- In Import Data, select Import Clients.
- Optionally turn on Update existing clients to add missing primary contacts.
- Select Start Import.
Customers already linked to QuickBooks are skipped unless you choose to update them.
Import products
- Open Organization Settings.
- Go to QuickBooks under Accounting.
- In Import Data, select Import Products.
- Select Start Import.
Imported products are added to your Pricebook. Items with matching names are skipped, and new imports default to category Other.
What happens next
Review imported clients in Clients and imported products in Pricebook. Recategorize Pricebook items if needed.
