Use Dave on your phone

The Dave iOS and Android apps work with an existing Dave account and business. Use the same sign-in method and email you use on the web.

Sign in

1. Open the Dave app and choose Sign in.
2. Sign in with your existing account.
3. Choose the business you want to work in if you belong to more than one.
4. Open Home, then use the navigation or browse menu to find your projects, schedule, clients, and documents.

Your business must have completed setup and have access that allows mobile use. A team invitation must be accepted with the invited account.

“Continue on the web”

Account creation, new-business setup, and subscription purchases happen on the Dave website. If the app shows Continue on the web, open that link and complete the step it describes. Return to the app and use Refresh, or choose another eligible business.

Owners and admins can invite into an available team seat in the app. If another paid seat is needed, follow Add this teammate on the web and complete that step in your browser.

Working on site

Use the project’s logbook for photos, videos, notes, and files. Keep an eye on Pending uploads when your connection is poor. Do not assume all product actions work offline: confirm an item has saved or uploaded before relying on it from another device.

Camera, microphone, photo-library, and notification permissions are managed by your phone. Allow the permissions for the features you want to use; if you previously denied one, check Dave’s permissions in your device settings.
